Apple Turnovers (Vegan)

Flaky puff pastry is filled with a warm cinnamon-sugar apple filling in these turnovers! Almost like mini apple pies, these treats are so simple and delicious.


Melt the vegan butter. Add the apples, brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and lemon juice. 

Stir frequently for 5-7 minutes, or until the apples have softened.

Cut the pastry sheets into smaller rectangles. Place 2-3 tablespoons of apple filling into the centers and fold the dough over.

Bake for 18-24 minutes or until they are golden brown.

Icing: Add the powdered sugar, vanilla, and 1.5 tablespoons of plant milk to a small bowl. Stir until the icing is smooth.

Drizzle icing over the turnovers and enjoy!
