Easy Vegan  Breaded Mushrooms

Coat your favorite type of mushroom in a savory, herb-filled breading and fry them to golden perfection.


Heat some oil over medium-high heat.

Add the mushrooms and cornstarch to a bowl that has a fitted lid. 

Toss them around to coat the mushrooms with the cornstarch.

Combine the wet batter ingredients into a thick slurry in a shallow bowl. 

Stir the dry breading ingredients together in a separate shallow bowl.

Coat each mushroom with the wet batter. Shake off the excess batter and then place it in the dry bowl.

Roll them into the dry breading until all of the wet batter is covered with it.

Cook the mushrooms in the hot oil for 3-4 minutes or until they are golden brown.

Let them cool down and then enjoy them with your favorite dipping sauce!
