Vegan Bratwurst

These easy Vegan Brats take just 20 minutes to make and with just a few simple ingredients! 

Slice the onions and heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add half of the vegan butter to the pan.

Sear the vegan brats by cooking them for 1-2 minutes on each side. Take them out of the pan for now.

Add the remaining butter, onions, seasoning, and brown sugar. Stir occasionally until the onions start to caramelize.

Put the brats over the onions, pour the vegan beer into the pan, and sprinkle the caraway seeds in. Lower the heat to medium.

Turn the brats occasionally as they cook. Keep the pan at a low boil till the beer has reduced to a sauce.

Serve the brats on buns, top them with some of the onion sauce, and toppings such as sauerkraut and spicy mustard.
