Vegan Cream Cheese Wontons

Crispy on the outside and filled with savory cream on the inside, these vegan cream cheese wontons are sure to be a new favorite. They are so tasty, that they'll fly off the plate!

This appetizer, also called rangoons, comes together in just 15 minutes and with only a handful of ingredients.

Slice green onions (scallions) into thin rings.

Combine the scallions with vegan cream cheese, garlic powder, paprika, and salt.

Pour a thin layer of oil into a small pan and set the heat to medium-high. Place half a tablespoon of cream cheese filling onto the middle of each wonton wrapper.

Dampen the edges of the wrapper with water. Form a triangle when sealing them. Push out as much air as you can as you seal them.

Fry a few wontons at a time in the hot oil. Cook them on each side for about 30 seconds or until they're golden brown.

Once the wontons have cooled down for a few minutes, garnish them with scallions and serve them with your favorite dipping sauce.

Air Fryer Instructions After sealing the wontons, place them in a single layer in the air fryer. You can spray them with cooking oil to make them crispier, but that's optional. Cook them for 2 ½ minutes on each side at 400°F. They should be golden brown when done.

Oven Instructions Prepare and seal all of the wontons. Place them on a baking sheet and mist a thin layer of cooking oil on both sides. Pop them into the oven and bake them for 15 minutes at 350°F. Flip them over halfway through.
