Vegan Red Velvet Valentine's  Day Cookies

Everyone will love these vegan soft and chewy red velvet cookies for Valentine's Day!

Simple Ingredients

Combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

Mix the vegan butter and brown sugar together until it's light and fluffy.

Stir in the egg replacer, vanilla, red gel color, and white vinegar.

Add the flour mixture to the large bowl. 

Stir it in with a spoon until all of the dry bits are incorporated into the cookie dough.

Roll the cookie dough into balls and place them a couple of inches apart on a lined cookie sheet.

Bake the cookies for 9-11 minutes or until the edges look stiff but the centers are still soft and puffy. 

Mix the vegan butter and vegan cream cheese together with a mixer. Then stir in in the powdered sugar a little at a time until it's smooth. 

Top the cookies with frosting and decorate them with a few crushed cookie crumbs.
