Vegan Loaf Cake

Vegan yogurt and a few other simple ingredients come together to create an incredibly tender and moist cake!


Preheat the oven and grease a loaf pan.

Melt the vegan butter and let it cool down. Take the plant milk and vegan yogurt out of the refrigerator.

Make the vegan buttermilk by mixing together the plant milk and apple cider vinegar. Let it sit for a few minutes to curdle.

Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cornstarch, and salt in a large bowl. 

Pour in the buttermilk, yogurt, melted butter, and vanilla. Gently fold everything together until it's combined. 

Pour the batter into the loaf pan and smooth out the top.

Bake the cake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Enjoy it right away or let it cool down before adding the optional glaze.
