Protein Waffles (Vegan)

These waffles are crispy on the outside;  soft and fluffy on the inside.

They are easy to make and meal-prep friendly!

Whisk together: flour, protein powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt to a large mixing bowl.

Gently fold in melted coconut oil and plant milk to the bowl.

The batter should be thick and scoop-able. Add more plant milk if it’s too thick or more flour if it’s too runny.

Add a few spoonfuls of the batter to a heated waffle iron until it's about 1 centimeter away from the edge.

Cook for about 4-6 minutes, until golden brown. Carefully remove the waffle with a fork or tongs.

SERENE TRAIL

Repeat this process until you’ve used up all of the batter.
